Directions

By Road:
Leave the A1 at Junction 51 (Bedale & Northallerton) and join the A684 signed to Bedale and Leyburn.

Follow the A684 into Bedale and through Bedale towards Leyburn, still on the A684. You will pass through the villages of Crakehall and Patrick Brompton.

Approximately 2 miles after Patrick Brompton you will see The Friar’s Head and Akebar Caravan Park on the left, 200m after this turn left at the crossroads, signed to Finghall.

Follow this road up the hill, across the level crossing and into the village of Finghall. The Queen’s Head is on your right in the centre of the village.

By Train:
Finghall has a station along the Wensleydale Railway. Whilst not currently directly accessible by the mainline National Railway, it is still a simple task ro reach us without having to resort to road.

To reach us by train, travel by main line train to Northallerton and use the connecting bus service to join our trains at Leeming Bar station.

Connecting bus times are shown on the Wensleydale Railway Timetable, and directions to and from the bus stops at Northallerton station and at Leeming Bar can be found here
